US real estate firm Hines, together with Key Group, has unveiled plans for a major new aerospace and defense hub on Florida’s Space Coast.
The development, called Space Coast Innovation Park, will span three million square feet and be built in three phases.
Hines managing director Ryan Wood explained:
“We’re excited to be among the first to bring a modern industrial park to aerospace and defense companies looking to establish or grow in North Brevard County. Partnering with Key Group allows us to address the critical logistics needs of Space Coast businesses.”
The first phase will feature three rear-load industrial buildings totaling over 639,000 square feet on a 50-acre site, with construction expected to kick off in the first quarter of next year.
The second phase will add two more industrial buildings, covering about 466,000 square feet across another 50 acres. Finally, phase three will introduce a 350-acre mixed-use development, expanding the scope beyond industrial use.
Key Group CEO Kathleen Yonce added:
“Working with Hines on this project—which we designed in collaboration with the Titusville Cocoa Beach Airport Authority—means we can combine their world-class development expertise with our vision. This partnership ensures both the community and our future tenants that we’ll deliver on our promise.”
